Clay pieces need to be handled with special care to avoid damage. To best preserve each piece and ensure its durability, use a duster or soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive products. If you expose the piece outdoors, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rain.
There may be slight variations in color and size and even asymmetries, no two pieces will be 100% the same.

Cida Lima is a Brazilian ceramic artist whose trajectory began in childhood, when she started working with clay to help support her family. In 2005, her practice took a new direction when she joined the Estado da Arte project in Belo Jardim, Pernambuco, coordinated by visual artist Ana Veloso and dedicated to revitalizing local craftsmanship and traditional practices of the region.

From this experience, Cida began developing a more authorial body of work, creating pieces in collaboration with her son Jailson, then 11 years old, under the guidance of the project. From this partnership emerged her iconic ceramic heads, which became her artistic signature, positioning her work within the field of Brazilian contemporary folk art and establishing a unique language that blends tradition, identity, and collective creation.
