BOOK DEZOITO GRAUS
R$60.00
In Dezoito graus (Eighteen Degrees), Lauro Cavalcanti mixes fiction and reality to tell the story of the mythical Capanema Palace, the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Health, built under Getúlio Vargas in the 1930s. Led by real characters such as Lucio Costa, Oscar Niemeyer, Le Corbusier and Getúlio himself, the book goes over the mishaps of this founding project of modern Brazilian architecture and the complex political panorama of the time.
The book offers a complete panorama of history and at the same time takes the reader into a plot where well-known personalities interact in scenarios that are present in our memories.
